Financial Stability Services
Through one-on-one coaching, financial education and access to credit and wealth building financial products, members receive financial stability services that provide the support needed to achieve their economic goals. Families, individuals and Kingdom House employees are invited to attend financial education classes and meet privately with financial social workers and coaches to establish clearly defined goals and develop strategies to meet them.
- Obtaining and reviewing credit reports
- Creating debt-reduction plans
- Accessing checking and savings accounts
- Organizing and understanding financial documents
- Designing a unique budget
- Addressing the behaviors that prevent individuals from successfully reaching goals

St. Louis Community Credit Union
Financial Stability programs and services are provided in partnership with St. Louis Community Credit Union and Prosperity Connection. Since opening its micro-branch inside Kingdom House in December 2012, St. Louis Community Credit Union has issued over 264 loans totaling $860,027 and opened over 471 new deposit accounts, bringing financial hope and opportunity to the surrounding community. The Credit Union and Kingdom House were awarded a $150,000 grant from the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions to implement a three-year pilot program. This initiative integrates financial services and education with social services offered to Kingdom House members.
