GARDENING PARTNERSHIP

In January of 2009, Senniger Powers LLP, a law firm in downtown St. Louis, partnered with Kingdom House to create and maintain community vegetable and herb gardens on the Kingdom House grounds. Led by attorney Jennifer Hoekel, volunteers from Senniger Powers worked with the Kingdom House staff and volunteers to coordinate and facilitate gardening activities that ran from January through December. During the height of the growing season in 2009, vegetables and herbs were used in the Kingdom House Daycare and After School programs as well as in the Food Pantry.

As we look forward to a new growing season in 2010, join Senniger Powers, the children, youth, volunteers and staff of Kingdom House as we photograph, journal and share our downtown partnership and our gardening story!
