get involved
Kingdom House seeks to create a collaborative relationship between its members and volunteers such that all parties are changed from within. The talents and skills of volunteers at Kingdom House--whether individuals, groups, or religious organizations--valuably augment our staff in forwarding the agency's mission of assisting low-income residents in St. Louis to achieve better lives. We see volunteering as a process of building relationships by serving others and becoming advocates for those whose voices too often go unheard.

To get started, please fill out our volunteer application. In order to protect the well-being of the children and families whom Kingdom House serves, we follow United Way best practices, including requiring three references. We also require volunteers to pass a background check and attend volunteer orientation. Once we receive your application, we'll contact you to set up a volunteer interview, which will help us to match your skills and schedule with a volunteer opportunity. Thank you in advance for submitting your application; we look forward to serving with you!
